The Branch Marshall

oversees the administration of the marshalate in the Shire. Their duties are: seeing that information is made available to all disciplines on armor and weapon standards, conventions of combat, rules of the lists, and any other information they are directed to distribute; ensure that all marshals’ warrant cards are up-to-date; ensuring that the local branch has trained marshals in any desired disciplines present at events; supervising marshaling activities at events; ensuring that marshals and participants in the local branch receive proper training; training a deputy; and making sure that equipment conforms to the required minimums of the kingdom regulations as listed in the An Tir Book of Combat.

They also liaise with all officers in charge of marshalled activities, attend council meetings, and submit reports to the Principality Earl Marshal and Shire Seneschal.
